Blueberry break-fast smoothie

Looking for a way to repair and nourish post work out or a delicious way to break your fast, this is the smoothie to start your day with! Jam-packed with antioxidants from the blueberries, fibre and potassium from the banana, as well as healthy fats from the peanut butter!

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ cups to 2 cups unsweetened almond or oat milk

1 ½ cups frozen blueberries

½ cups frozen bananas (I freeze my bananas in ½″ slices)

¼ cup almond or peanut butter

Optional nutrition boosters: ¼ cup old-fashioned oats and/or 2 tablespoons grounded flax seed

METHOD

In a blender, combine all of the ingredients.

Blend all ingredients together. Stop to scrape down the sides or add more milk if necessary.

Once the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. Divide the smoothie into 2 glasses. Serve immediately!
