3 Different ways to Break-Your-Fast with overnight oats…Overnight oats are a fabulously nutritious break-fast that can be prepared the night before, so that choosing your morning meal much easier!
What are Overnight Oats?
Overnight oats are simply a blend of raw rolled oats, liquid, salt and lots of flavour. You mix everything together in a jar and let it rest in your fridge until you’re ready to enjoy!
Prep is done the night before, making it an easy grab and go if you are working away from home…simply add your toppings of choice for a delicious nutritious breakfast!
Recommended Overnight Oat Ingredients?
There are so many variations to overnight oats and you may find yourself creating your own! Here I have given my favourites to get you started:
Old fashioned oats – for best consistency don’t use quick oats.
Unsweetened almond or oat milk – another type of non-dairy milk will work here such as rice milk or coconut milk beverage, or use organic goat or cow’s milk.
Coconut yoghurt, Full Fat Greek yogurt or peanut butter – the thickness of the mixtures makes these nice and creamy.
Chia Seeds – a great ways to get in healthy fats and create texture.
How To Make The Best Overnight Oats?
To make overnight oats, all you have to do before you go to bed at night is:Mix together oats, milk of your choice, yogurt of choice or peanut butter and chia seeds
Let them soak overnight in the fridge.
Enjoy them the next morning!

Tips for Perfect Overnight Oats
Best type of oats are use old fashioned rolled oats here (not quick oats), or you won’t get right consistency.
Measure ingredients for the most consistent results. Don’t just dump and guess.
Let the oats soak for at least 4 hours — or 8 hours for even better results.
Wait until the morning to add crisp ingredients (like nuts) to they’ll stay nice and crisp.
